Leave Concession
The Indian Navy Officers are granted a sufficient number of leaves. They are allowed to take 60 days of annual leave and 20 additional days of casual leave. If the Navy officers their 30 leave days per year, they can encash it at retirement.
Travel Concession
It is an allowance provided to the Navy officers to bear their travel expenses. They can travel by railways or roadways once a year and their family. If they use rail transport, they can avail themselves of 6 travel concessions.
Offer Retirement Policy

Salary of Indian Navy Sailors During Training Period
During the training period, the Indian Navy sailors receive a stipend of ₹5,700 per month. This rate stipend increases by 50% whenever the dearness allowance on the revised pay scale goes up by 50%.

A navy sailor can travel with his family through railways or airways at least once a year. They can also take advantage of six travel concessions per year if they travel by railways.

Responsibilities of Indian Navy Officers
The Indian Navy Officers are given training in driving, gunnery, submarine warfare, etc. The duties that the navy officer has to perform are -
- Navigation - The navy officer must know using various satellite and radar equipment to navigate the Indian personnel.

The candidates who pass the NDA exam undergo four-year training. If the candidate has scored 70% in their 12th class, they can opt for a technical entry scheme and undergo four years of training.
- The candidate must complete their graduation from any stream.
- The candidate must appear for the UPSC exam, which is followed by the physical examination.
